In autunno si terrà la cerimonia di premiazione degli Emmy Awards, il premio più importante per le produzioni sul piccolo schermo statunitense. Oggi 13 luglio 2017 sono state finalmente rese note le serie candidate nelle singole categorie, dopo settimane di agguerrita campagna promozionale per guadagnare un posto al sole.
Oltre ai successi Westworld e Stranger Things, troviamo le serie FOX sugli scudi: #This is Us, #Modern Family ma anche il cult #Atlanta sono tra gli show nominati.
Sorprende l’inossidabile Viola Davis, che raccoglie l’ennesima nomination per il ruolo da protagonista nella serie TV di FOX Le Regole del Delitto Perfetto, nonostante la concorrenza tra vecchie e nuove leve non manchi. Arrivano importanti conferme anche per le spie di The Americans e per una novità già molto amata come This is Us.
Tra i network è da citare il risultato di HBO, capace di ottenere il maggior numero di nomination (ben 110!) nonostante la mancanza di Game Of Thrones nelle categorie, a causa dell’inizio posticipato della nuova stagione.
