Premio Hugo 2019: ecco tutti i finalisti

I finalisti al Premio Hugo 2019 sono usciti allo scoperto durante la World Science Fiction Society di Dublino del 2019. 

Il Premio Hugo è un premio letterario che viene assegnato ogni anno, dal 1953, ad opere fantasy o di fantascienza; i premi sono amministrati e selezionati dai membri della World Science Fiction Society (la convention mondiale di fantascienza conosciuta anche come Worldcon).

Quest'anno, spulciando bene tra i generi letterari, è possibile notare una nutrita presenza femminile tra i nomi degli autori. Notizia non da poco.

Già lo scorso anno, l'autrice N.K. Jemisin è riuscita in quella che si può definire un'impresa, vincendo il suo terzo premio consecutivo come miglior romanzo con il suo libro The Stone Sky (terza storia della trilogia di Broken Earth). Fra le altre vincitrici nel 2018 spiccano Martha Wells con il suo libro All Systems Red, Suzanne Palmer con la sua novelette The Secret Life of Bots e Rebecca Roanhorse con il racconto Welcome to your Authentic Indian Experience.

Il Premio Hugo 2019 sarà consegnato alla Worldcon 77 che quest'anno si terrà a Dublino, in Irlanda, tra il 15 ed il 19 agosto. Tra i finalisti di quest'anno figurano nomi già noti e diversi nomi nuovi.
